I think it’s the one with a 0. iPhone Dev Team originally planned on releasing the iPhone 3G ultrasn0w unlock today, but unfortunately they were unable to release it due to bugs with the YouTube activation and other issues. Many people are anxiously waiting to unlock and jailbreak iPhone OS 3.0. I have been waiting too, but I can wait more. The Dev Team do this for us for free and if they didn’t do it who else would have done it? Ill be checking for ultrasn0w updates and posting them here once I find them.

Many people are anxiously awaiting this release because iPhone OS 3.0 was recently released and they want to unlock their iPhones. Fortunately the Dev Team has been working hard to bring this update to us, and if everything goes as planned we should see the ultrasn0w unlock for iPhone 3G some time today. The ultrasn0w unlock will require a jailbreak as well, which the iPhone Dev Team has worked hard on creating. QuickPwn will be making a unlock iPhone 3G 3.0 with ultrasn0w guide once ultrasn0w is released.

Apple hasn’t announced any iPhone 3.0 release time, so you’ll just have to launch iTunes and click Check for Update button to see if the update is up. With each update comes a new jailbreak. iPhone Dev Team have  confirmed that they will be releasing the iPhone 3.0 jailbreak right after the firmware 3.0 is out. This week will be a big week. Hey guys, I’m going to get everything setup and make sure everything is setup.  Alright guys this is it this is MuscleNerd part of the iPhone Dev Team.  I’m going to show you the world’s first iPhone 3G unlock codenamed yellowsn0w.  I’m going to try to make it short and sweet.  It’s legitimately subscribed to AT&T and doesn’t need an unlock.  I’m going to pull out my AT&T sim and try to do this on camera so you know this is real.  Here is my TMobile sim and lets pop that in the tray because this phone is simlocked and I go to settings -> general -> about you’ll see that the network is not registering.  If I try to make a call you can see that it can’t go through.  I just went into the terminal and I just logged into the iPhone.  You won’t have to do this by hand our yellowsn0w Cydia package will do this for you.  Right now it’s probing.  Now sit here and watch and you should see the network bars come on.  Now you can see the TMobile bars and the Edge status.  There is the network TMobile in the about section.
